: Seeing how the GPS system ONLY measures speed when it is moving (there are NO provisions for seeing how fast one was going once one has stopped), this means you must have reached into your pocket and pulled out your GPS to see how fast you were going! And on top of THAT amazing feat, since the avaerage hand held has a screen only 3" x4", with the display letters approx 1/4" high at best, you were able to decipher that little screen and determine your speed WHILE on the back of a runaway galloping horse at full speed (not the smoothest ride in the world)! TRULY AFEAT WORTHY OF THE GREAT INDY, HIMSELF!!! Next time, keep both hands on the reins and maybe you'll be able to control your mount.
