Sean Patrick Flannery: Good young Indy or bad?

I have seen him in a number of films over the years...But when I purchased the Trilogy special edition thingy that came with the Treasure of the Peacock's Eye, I thought he didn't quite fit the part... what do you guys think? If you don't like him who would be the perfect young indy (Besides yourselves!!!)
