Monument Valley

Has anyone ever been to Monument Valley? For those unfamiliar, Monument Valley is where the opening horseback scene of "Crusade" was shot, as well as countless John Wayne/John Ford westerns. I've briefly looked into the area, which is located on the Utah-Arizona border in the southwest section of the country. They offer numerous horseback/mule-riding tours. It seems like the perfect place to don a fedora and trot around some very historical scenery. I reckon the rock formations would make one hell of a backdrop for an Indyesque photograph.

So, has anyone been there? Has anyone taken one of these tours? Got any pictures?
