I have only owned the US Wing Goat jacket, but I think it's great. Very tough. I wear a size 38R. They sent me a "Small". It fits me fine. I like the new look. The bi-swing stays closed most of the time. As far as the straps, I thing they look OK. I'm not a stickler for details. I was just looking for a good three season Indy jacket. I've had the jacket for a about two months and have not found anything I didn't like about.
