: : How's this for an ending to whatever the last H.F. IJ film prooves to be:
: :
: : Indy looks down at a kid whose archaeological efforts he's just thwarted:
: :
: : "You lost today, kid - but that doesn't mean you have to like it."
: : And puts his hat on the kids head - giving us not only a warm fuzzy ending, but also a convenient way of carrying on without ever having someone other than HF actually claim to be Indy...

: it's a good idea however, this kid can't just be anyone, since it is from the past lines of an indy film. if in indy 4 he was married to marion at the end he could pass this on to his son, who if they wanted to drag it series out they could continue with a son. although i don't think that they should do something like this just to drag out more movies. it would have to keep up to the very high standards of the past indy classics. what do you think?

That sounds like a great idea, but I think it would be more appropriate if the last line was a line from "Raiders", to sort of give the feeling of coming around in a full circle.
