In the TV segment of the making of the Raiders, Ford quotes the boulder
as being a 800 pound ball of plaster. Although it was rigged to an arm to provide some control...
it was still a potential hazard...

Not sure how tall it was...but I wouldn't really want to get run over by something like that!
