Out of town for a few days and just reviewed some forumania, incl. the clover lighter posts.
With St. Patrick's Day coming up, perhaps the Lighter Carry Crew out there will have new cachet...
So, did Alison Doody have a cloverleaf icon on her lighter because she's a fair colleen? Granted, it's kind of an all-purpose lucky charm symbol...
Here's the background on "collen", by the way:
Colleen: (n.) An Irish girl. [Irish cailin, diminutive of caile, girl, from Old Irish cale, probably from Latin pellex, concubine, akin to Greek pallake, Sanskrit pallavaki.
The way she kissed ol' Harry suggests that she ain't unfamiliar with the ways of pellex, methinks.
