fabric of Disney Indy jacket

Hey everyone.
The fabric on the jacket mentioned in the subject (the one you can buy in Disneyworld) appears to be made of suede and since I'm not positive if rain, a little dirt, etc. will ruin it, I've only worn it indoors or to special occasions. If someone is sure how this particular jacket would fare against the elements, please tell me.
