: Just read a string of posts I had not noticed before. DeWayne and Austin have some pretty strong opinions about the work others have done. They are entitled to their opinions. DeWayne and I have had differing opinions before, and I believe I’ve conceded when I’ve found I was mistaken. Sorry, but “horseshit”, “BS”, and “Liar”? Well, that does not sit very well with me. I’ve taken the liberty of spending money out of my pocket to research this stuff as a hobby, and this is the kind of crap I get? When you spend what I have, then we can talk.
: Somebody out there is, in fact, a liar, and you haven’t got either the balls or the imagination to say who that is. Buy whatever jacket you want, I really do not care. DeWayne and/or Austin – feel free to email me if you would like to discuss. If you just want to throw shit around, though, then keep it to yourself.

...just kidding folks. One thing about this forum, you find different opinions, and this is healthy, and natural. Some folks here are rather stubborn, and I must confess, that I am one of those. I see everything in black and white, there are no shades of gray in my world of perception. I may be wrong, but I think that after months of Patterson researching this jacket matter, and seeing an original one on top of that, he should have a very good idea of what it should look like. I mean, this guy is an accountant! And, I have never known an accountant who wasn't a stickler for details, details, details. I think you can verify everything he says about the construction of the jacket. This isn't rocket science. If you have kept up with his posts, he has tarried over every little detail. No stone has been left unturned. He has done all of this for one reason. He wants to own a Raiders jacket that is as accurate as he can possibly get. And the Wested falls short of the original. If you can verifiably refute the design parameters for the Expedition, then do so. We would all be interested in debating this. But remember, in a debate, it is bad form to attack the other fellow's character. Regards, Fedora
