Dawn of the Dead
Day of the Dead
Hellraiser
John Carpenter's The Thing
Evil Dead
Angel Heart
Alien
Last House on the Left
Fright Night (I thought this one was fun)
Silence of the Lambs
Suspiria

There's a lot more, but you get the picture...

P.S. One thing I tend to do is ask myself what Jones would do in certain horrific situations, i.e., Finding the Lament Configuration puzzle box from Hellraiser, dealing with hordes of cannibalistic reanimated corpses, etc.
