Mark Allen whip-help!

OK so I think I'm going to finally get a Mark Allen whip.

I'm going with the natural tan for color authenticity. The question
is, what length?

I'm thinking the 8ft. , not for authenticity, but for practicality. I've
used a six foot whip before and found it too short; people have
told me that for all-around use, an 8 foot is good.
Does anyone know if an 8 footer from Mark Allen includes the
entire whip, or just the thong minus the fall and popper?

Anyone think I should get the 10 footer or another lenght
instead?
