The best way (and I've tried everything) is to sew a spandex panel between the inside seams, top to bottom. You'll have to open the lining for this. From trial and error I can tell you this; do NOT make a square panel! It's too much fabric and the curve of your back will not draw it out properly. It should be shaped like a bow tie; extending from the top of the seam and from the bottom just above the straps to a center no more than 3" wide.
