I found this in my news paper today in the section about the up coming Oscars.

CHOCOLAT- Alfred Molina, who plays a nervious, conservative mayor of the village in Chocolat, first attracted attention for a small but memorable role in a 1981 film nominee for best picture. He played a jungle guide who tried to steal an idol, and died about 10 minuets into the film. Name the film?
