Lao Che

In IJ&TD teh character of Lao Che bears a striking resemblance to a Beijing Opera character. This character is a middle-aged man, usually a court official, that has a soft-spoken, calm voice and usually wears a white or black beard. The name is the most striking aspect. In the Beijing opera this characters name is Lao Sheng. I don't think I need to point out the obvious. Other descriptions of this character match quite well with our Temple gangster.
