: The real Model 29 has a shiny blued finish, so I used a gloss enamal black spray paint. For the grips, I used both a medium brown and a wood brown enamals and swirled them together to get a wood grain effect. Don't forget that the ramp front sight has a red insert, with a white outline on the rear. Hopefully, my picture post will come out. What you'll see is the Prop Guns 44 modified to the 6-1/2" bbl version for my Clint Eastwood "Dirty Harry" prop collection. For Indy, I was lucky enough to get one of the Japanese Model Gun Company S&W Model 28 .357 with a 4" bbl. That one actually functions like the real thing in every aspect except for the ability to chamber or fire real ammo. Got that one back in '84, when I first put together my Indy outfit.
