The FED is here...

A returned to find my FED had arrived. It is a bargain for fifty bucks. Reminds me of my Miller. It is much darker then Indy's, but will go nicely with my black trench coat. Today I will have a new 1 1/2 flat black ribbon put on. (why can't they just make it with the correct color and ribbon?)It IS going to take some work before I will be happy with it though. It is in bad need of a diminsional cut. I have started shaping the crown but it will take more work to get that Indy look. You see I have a PB to compare it to and that IS a high standard :-)
