Do the Aldens ever darken to the Raiders color?

My Aldens are still too brick-colored. They don't look like the dirt brown color boots Indy wears in Raiders. Do they eventually darken to that color? If not, how can I darken them, or do I have to make a special order from Alden? Thanks.
