OK-1 More Question About Ordering Aldens

I know this has been talked about a lot before of late but I thought of something else to ask. I know about the 1/2 size rule. My foot measures 11 1/2. But I normally wear 11 in most shoes (bowling shoes, dress shoes, etc..) So would the 1/2 size rule refer to what your true size is? Or to what size yo would normally wear? I figure my 2 options are 10 1/2 or 11.
