There was an interesting article about him in National Geographic, or Smithsonian in the last couple of years. I get both of these magazines,and can't recall right off. According to this article he was a bit of an eccentric, as only the British can be. I thought it was interesting that he got into the military again, after his exploits, under an assumed mame. Quite an insightful article and worth reading. Regards, Fedora
