Peters Brothers, Federation, and Nostalgia side by side pic

Hi everyone,

The hats are left to right, top to bottom: PB, Fed, Nostalgia almost new, Nostalgia overworn and in need of reblocking (should've kept it brushed!)

The pic is not as sharp as I would have liked. You can see that the federation is a much different shade than either the PB or the nostalgias. The color is growing on me though. It is a dark brown, in the same way that a wested is dark brown (ie VERY dark). It has a blackish/greenish quality also. You can see by the nostalgias that hats have a way of changing color, so it should lighten up. I still prefer the PB and Nostalgias color.

My Fed is a size 61 (7 5/8) with a 5.5 crown and 2 3/4 inch brim. I just gave it a quick bash, I'll reshape it better later.
