ToD CD question

Hope this doesn't start an 'anti-music/CD' movement.... ;)

Why is there no domestic version of the Temple of Doom CD? All one can find in stores and online is the 'Import' version, which only has about a dozen tracks.

Are there plans to release both ToD and LC soundtracks as 'Special Editions', like Raiders/SW Trilogy?
