Do you see how thick and stiff the collar on the FS looks as compared to the Wested and the Raiders sample pic?

I believe Azuma's FS is lamb, which is the most thin of leathers available.

I assume all manufacturers: Westes, FS, and US Wings construct their collars by sewing together two leather panels. Just seems the FS is too thick, like there is an extra layer of something between the two leather panels......IMHO.

Is this making sense?
