Indy's influance on "The X-Files"

I was watching a re-run of the "X-Files" when this thought occured to me: Doesn't it seem that Mulder is very similar to Indy? I speak of the single-mindedness and taste for the bizzare. Just thought I'd throw that out ... anyone else ever think that?
