Considering the thousands of dollars of LL Bean clothes in my closet, this may seem like a bit of blasphemy, but lemme say that Bean gear just isn't an accurate subsitute for IndyGear.
It *IS* good and solid and long wearing. Just not accurate.
There's *never* been a single item of Bean stuff I've ever been disappointed in; it lasts forever, they support it to a fault. For functional stuff, there may not be a better company on the planet.
If you're looking to build out an authentic wardrobe, it's not the right choice.
God I Love Bean. It's totally solid. Just not accurate.
Just wanted to share an opinion...
P.S. Wish them Lucas/Spielberg/Ford boys'd get their noggins together! It'd be soo much fun to chat up a new flick, eh? :-)
