Well, I think the only line of dialogue we hear from "Goebler" was "Perhaps the girl can help us." He seemed to be Dietrich's next in command-Lt. Colonel perhaps. And then I think the only time and reason we hear his name spoken is when Dietrich commands the ark to be "taken from this place-have it put on a truck; we will fly it out of Cairo. And Goebler, I want plenty of protection."
