Yep, regardless of what some folks think, the world is chock full of evil, although to the Taliban, what they are doing is perfectly normal and acceptable. Everyone here is guily of the same sort of thing, though not as drastic as what you mentioned. Face it, as a species, we have been a very violent and unforgiving, and absolutely nothing has change in this respect since the rise of civilization. It permeates everything, even our religions. We can be brilliant, and stupid. A contradiction of opposites. But, it makes life extremely interesting, and as Indy said, "It's a long way to Delhi. Anything can happen." God, I love it so!
