Congratulations on the PB - it's the only fedora I've found I need to own. As far as being worried about wearing it? Well, Joe Jr. makes hats that are meant to be worn. Mine had the full dose of stiffener, and it's been worn and lovingly abused. It only makes the hat look better and better. On the color - I'd agree that a richer color would be nice, along the lines of the Miller or Nostalgia. But, I am acompletely satisfied with the PB. I've never been a real hat fan - i.e. I never would have dropped the dough an HJ of GW costs. Actually, I'm completely unimpressed with the HJ's I've had the opportunity to examine, though the GW looks pretty impressive until you see the price tag! Anyway, for my money the best choice is the PB - and choice is the key. Joe Jr. makes it anyway you want for a reasonable price.
