I have noticed that too. In fact my very first question on the forum entailed why everyone thought TOD was terrible. I thought it was the best film in the series so far. Maybe the disrespect comes because the film was such a vast departure from the previous one. Some people just can't handle drastic changes. In my case, I found Crusade to be almost tedious in parts with all the backround info on Indy's life. Sometimes you should leave a story untold. Always leave the audience wanting to know more.
