I remember my father telling me that when he was a young boy
that Western Movie stars used to travel to the small towns
promoting their movies. He said he clearly remembers Lash LaRue
as well as some others(Johnny Mac Brown, Tom Mix etc.. )who put on
an exhibition with their whips and quick draw expertise....
I think that he said that was when you could get into a movie
