Ol Roy was an alumn from the college I graduated from. His books are really quite spectacular and it is no wonder that some people claim he is the model for Indy. If anyone gets a chance, pick up his Ends of the Earth (on eBay occasionally) or Under a Lucky Star. Those are his autobiographies and he has had many a close call with death that I think Indy fans could appreciate.


: I tried... really... Charles Gallenkamp was speaking on Roy Chapman Andrews ("inspiration for Indiana Jones, etc...") for his new biography book tour... I went... tried to listen, almost dozed off. Poor Charles is not the most dynamic speaker in the world...
: Anyway, some of you may find the book interesting: "Dragon Hunter", it's called. Just published.
