: : : Well, me and Mr. Morgan discussed the characteristics and he
: : : answered some questions I had about his whips during the
: : : summer of 1997. I finally got down to it and bought one.
: : : Shortly after receiving it and discovering to my delight
: : : that this was one of the greatest whips in the world, I
: : : informed him that I would be interested in ordering his
: : : book, since I HAD to find out how these wonderful whips
: : : were made. I am an autograph freak by nature, and asked
: : : him if he would sign it for me, after all, I did just buy
: : : a $520 bullwhip from him. He told me that he would be happy
: : : to sign it. So, after a month-long trip from one side of the
: : : country to another (and after having had stalked around taking
: : : pictures at George Lucas' house at Skywalker Ranch in the hills
: : : Marin County) I returned home and ordered the book as a birthday
: : : present to myself. I e-mailed him telling him of my order, and
: : : he signed it before it went into the mail. To my surprise, he
: : : signs the D in his name the exact same way I sign mine!!!
: : : I probably sound like I'm bragging, but I also wrote a letter
: : : to Harrison Ford, and he liked it so much that he called me,
: : : then I sent him my Raiders movie poster and he autographed
: : : it for me!!! I have never been so flattered in my entire
: : : life!!!

: : That is great Dale, It must have been some letter to get a personal response back from Harrison Ford like that. You have every right to brag.
: : Now that you mention it, I should have inquired about having David Morgan sign my book at the time I ordered it. Well live and learn I suppose.
: : Dan
: Hey, it's not too late!!! Just e-mail him and ask him for an
: autograph, I'm sure he would be more than happy to sign your
: book. He probably doesn't get many autograph requests, so he's
: probably flattered when he does run across someone who wants one.
