Thanks for the tip, as I'm always on the lookout for some cheaper Indy knock-off pants. But the trouble I find in store-bought replicas is that the legs aren't wide, or "roomy" enough to properly drape over/around the Alden boots.
Do you have Aldens? If so, do these Dockers seem to work okay drapewise with them? If you don't own Aldens could you do me a huge favor and just measure the width of the pants leg at the very bottom/ankle area? I've found that a good 8.5" or above would be needed with Aldens.
