My FINAL thoughts on Tomb Raider

All I need to say is: I love the Indy movies, and I hate Tomb Raider. Think what you will... all of you. I don't care. It makes me SICK that Tomb Raider, a complete rip-off of Indiana Jones (the movie AND the video games) is just as big an enterprise, if not bigger, than Indy. Sure, I know that Indy was spun from the classic saturday morning action-adventure serials of Spielberg's and Lucas' youth, but so what? It was still original. Tomb Raider simply turned Indy into a girl, gave her enormous jugs, and put her in the same situations, only ripping out any feelings. Indy was brave, but he wasn't a hero. He teaches, but he isn't a boring academic. He's just in there with a whip to keep the world at bay.
