I've got a lambskin and a new hide (cow) Wested. They each have their merits, but in general I would go with the hide. The hide is strong, has a nice color, and is heavier than the lambskin. The lambskin has a nice color as well. I just don't think that the lamb can hold up to the same punishment that the hide can. Of course if you live in a hot place, you might consider the lamb. It's lightness is a fine feature. As far as lining goes, both of my jackets are satin which I like fine. If you went with the cotton, I'd go with the satin sleeves. Regards
