The one thing about the pants that seems sure is the color- it does look as if they are the taupe or "officer's pink." However, I am sure these pants are not corduroy. However, I am uncertain if they are the "cavalry twill" which seems to be the accepted pants material on the indy gear pages. Cavalry twill is a diagonally textured material and seems a bit heavy. The more I look at the pants in the films- (mostly Raiders) the more I think it is some sort of fine summer weight wool gabardine (without the "shiny" finish some gab trousers have). I will be very interested in hearing the official word on the color and type of material used in the pants from the source (thanks Peter.) What is your opinion?
