I just DL'd a copy of THE PHANTOM MENACE called THE PHANTOM EDIT....apparently some guy in LA wanted The Mighty Jabba's - Er... - Lucas's attention, and re-edited TPM...GREATLY reducing Jar Jar's part - to the point of actually making him somewhat of an interesting character!!

And this isn't some cheesy "Look-there's-now-a-huge-hole-there" editing job (well, a few edits are a bit sloppy, but what can ya do?)...he really did a pretty good job!! I like the film SO MUCH BETTER now...
