I imeadiately thought of that connection when I saw it. Also the running from the water bit in the same scene was like TOD.

Also in that other film that's out this year - that's a bit like Indy the villain says "Trust Me" which I think was supposed to be Indy's catchphrase (a bit like 'may the force be with you') although it never panned out in the end. Obscure? Yep, Possible? Maybe.
