James Dean as Indiana Jones (or any actors from the past)

Tried on a friend's Wested and PB the other day. (Yes I do have a friend. As long as the check clears, he holds up the charade. For my girlfriend's sake) Anyway - he told me I looked like James Dean as Indiana Jones.
Got me to thinkin' - what if Indy was done back then and JD played him? Bet he would've cried alot. Tried to get the Grail for his Father so he would love him more.
Or, who back then would've been a good Indiana?
Personally, Harrison Ford looks a bit like Gary Cooper so I think GC would've been a good Indy. How about Brando, Newman, Heston or the coolest of them all Steve Mcqueen.
p.s. Guinness and Cheerios don't mix well.
