Actually, my car's engine doesn't smell like Army surplus. It smells more like squirrel farts.
Maybe someone kept a skunk in that bag. I should try tomato juice.

: I have a surplus army rifle that stinks, and ooses oil from the stock when it gets hot- a gun dealer told me this is "cosmoline"- I think it's a wood preservative. A bag kept in the same wherehose would probably soak up the odor.
