: New to the jacket thing. I was wondering what the difference was when someone says they ordered a 44 or a 44L. Is one supposed to be longer? Is it a better fit? Is it more authentic one way or another? Is it only a personal preference? Thanks!
"L" means "long", as opposed to "R", which means "regular". The "L" sizing works better for taller folks and are long waisted. I believe it's about an inch longer in length, if memory serves me right. Regards. Michaelson
