Whip cracking enthusiasts.

Do any of you actally know how to crack a bullwhip or stock whip? I know that Indy Werner does some cracking and I'm an avid whipman. But do any of you people who collect all of this gear actually know how to use a bullwhip? I'm talking basic cracks, multiple cracks, target work, etc. Or do you just let it hang off your belt and occasionally do "towel cracks" with it? :) I'm new to this board so forgive me if this has been discussed all ready.

PS-If you spent five or six hundred bucks on a DM bullwhip, please don't tell me you swing on it. *cringe* :)
