I saw the 'JP3' CD at Wal-Mart and it said the music was done by some other guy, not John Williams this time. I think that's a big mistake.

I believe that the change in composers also REALLY hurt 'The Mummy Returns'. When they take away the familiar themes you're left with forgettable music.
