Civil Air Patrol.

I finally found a way to get my PPL without exhausting all of my funds. Its a pretty sweet deal, you offer yourself up for emergency situations, searching, rescues, etc... And you get a cheap education. Should be interesting, I am going to look into it next summer when I have some spair time.

Does anyone know anything about CAP? Is this a good idea? Feedback would be nice.
