Hal Barwood and the Missing Script

I was just reading my copy of PC Gamer for Dec 98 and they have a huge article on the new indy game. They also had an interview with Hal Barwood, the project lead. He said that when he started to think about the game he had two ideas in mind. One is the Tower of babel idea that the game turned into. The other is an idea which Barwood said could potentially be turned into the next indy movie, and lucasfilm told him not to use it. Does anybody know what the original idea was supposed to be?
