I just had Joe Strain repair 2 of my whips at the "point". Right where the fall attaches to the whip. It is common for a plait to break here.
Further up the whip... ouch. I know that this can be repaired by unbraiding the whip up past the break and adding a new strand to replace the broken one.
Give Joe a call at 208-687-7055
Joe did a fabulous job on my whips.
hope it all works out.
