Federation Sizing

What's the insider plan regarding the sizing of the Federations? Are they koshur now, or are they still sized oddly? I remember when they first came out people got larger hats than they ordered, and were forced to use the lampshade trick to get 'em to fit.

I usually wear a 7 1/4, and I have an Akubra Bushman in 58. So should a 58 Federation fit me the same way, or will I have to resize it?
