: After better than four years in the black shoe Navy, I've received orders to Basic Underwater Demolition/SEAL training (BUD/S), and I'll be leaving very soon to report to the September class. As just about anyone who has TV with frequency knows, this isn't the easiest undertaking in the world, but I've wanted to work with those guys and have the right to call myself one of the military's best since I can remember wanting anything. Just in case I won't have a chance to sit down with a computer to post with the old gang, or just in case a few of you wonder whatever happened to that guy Jake, I'll say my farewells now.
