There is a connector you can buy that runs from a video/audio "RCA" type connector to a coax connector. I have one for my video camera, and before I upgraded my TV, it worked fine in the back of the DVD player. The only drawback was that the audio connector was mono, and I had to have a splitter for the stereo-out of the dvd to a single connect for the cord. The adapter cord could run ya about $30, while the two-male-to-single femalt/male would be about $5.
Alternately, there is also a cable (also came with my vid cam) that has a pretty big adapter that includes allthree plugs as 1/4 inch connectors in one peice...and this also plugged into the back of my dvd...but make sure yours has the correct port before going for that one....they are a bit more expensive..
