Webley,
Sorry I've been away for a while but earlier on some of us were responding to Mithandir's question on "favorite places". I indicated that I had visited Belgium and you asked me "where?". To answer your question, I was in Antwerp (or as they say there, Antwerpen).

It was cold, foggy and it was the first time I went eyeball to eyeball with a Soviet Army lieutenant colonel. It was 1989 and he was serving as an observer under the NATO status of forces agreement while we were conducting a training exercise. I was just a lieutenant then and it was a big deal for me because, at the time, the Soviets were still our enemy. -MP
