Indiana Jones, ANY Indiana Jones will not happen without Spielberg or Lucas, and the chances of them replacing Ford are somewhere between slim and none. Granted, Spielberg relinquished Jaws & Jurassic Park, Lucas American Graffiti, but don't you get a sense that Indiana Jones is special to them?

I mean, Spielberg is quoted as saying "Harrison Ford IS Indiana Jones." If that's not a clear indication, than I don't know what is!

I see your point, I mean, the Bond series is a continuing box office draw, but the character was established long before Dr. No...not so with Indiana Jones.

I guess my point is that any conjecture is irrelevant because, if it ever happens, I'd be surprised and dismayed.

I'm sure people said that about Lazenby & Moore though...
